T2G FairFare app for iPhone and iPad

Fair Fare is an app that helps ensure taxi passengers that they are paying the right amount of money for their rides. It is one of the apps built to support the Trapik project.
Trapik is a DOST-PCIEERD-funded multi-year project which primarily aims to gather data about Metro Manila traffic for forecasting, analysis and urban planning. The project is currently headed by Dr. Proceso Fernandez Jr. and Dr. Kardi Teknomo under the Department of Information Systems and Computer Science of the Ateneo de Manila University with the collaboration of various government agencies such as the Land Transportation Franchising & Regulatory Board, Metro Manila Development Authority, and Land Transportation Office.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
